Have a look at the 2004 Winter Carnival panoramas too. The quality of the 2004 panoramas aren't as good as these because I use a much better camera and fisheye lens now, but there was an beautiful Ice Palace that year.
During their annual post hunt get together the Cooler Crew visits the log in Crosby Park where the 2005 St. Paul Winter Carnival Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt medallion was found.
"Sitting" on the log along with the crew is zephy, the cardboard cutout representing Jason Anderson, a sergeant in the MN National Guard stationed in Baghdad, Iraq.

Thinking it unfair to attack a St. Paul building during the St. Paul Winter Carnival, the team chose the distinctive Foshay Tower from neighboring Minneapolis for their design.
Every year after the St. Paul Winter Carnival Treasure Hunt the Cooler Crew hold their Rehash Bash in the park where the medallion was found. Here they are in Crosby Park after the 2005 hunt.
